Flexible Options to Support Your Practice

Our classes are offered in an 8-week series so you can build consistency and connection over time. Most students sign up for one or two classes per week, but we know that life and practice aren't always one-size-fits-all!

You can easily add extra classes at any time during a series with one of our flexible add-on options. 2-Class Add-On, 4-Class Add-On, or create a custom add-on that fits your needs

Our online and in-studio classes are set up in an 8-week class series. At the Iyengar Institute in Pune, each week focuses on a different group of asanas (poses): the first week is standing poses, the second week is forward bends and twists, 3rd week is backbends, and 4th week is Restorative/Pranayama. We mostly follow this method but with a focus on a particular group or pose that is carried out through the series. When you sign up and commit to a series, you’ll get the opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of Iyengar Yoga. (Class make-ups are available throughout the week when your regular class time doesn’t work with your schedule on a particular week. All make-ups must be done in the 8-week time frame- check with Graham if you need to find an appropriate make-up class.)

IN-STUDIO CLASS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bring your own mat. All other studio props are available for use, or you may bring your own props, such as blankets, straps, blocks, bolsters, etc.

  • Please do not attend an in-studio class if you have a fever, cold, or cough.

  • If you have any major medical or physical conditions that require extra attention, please ensure you know the necessary modifications. A private class may be a great fit to understand your individual needs. Reach out to us so we can help find the right type of class!

ONLINE CLASSES:

Our online LIVE classes are with the platform ZOOM and password protected. You will need to download the app to your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer. There is no cost to you for the app. Our studio offers LIVE classes online as well as recorded video classes. It's easy to use- you just need access to the internet from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer. You must have at least 2 years of Iyengar Yoga Experience to take a Zoom class.
